The Single's In Christ Prayer

Lord, I thank you for all you have given me,

Even those things that seem unfair and unjust.

Even the scars that have been inflicted by those intending evil against me.

 

Lord, I am the soil in which you can plant,

Your words with its promise of fruits.

I am open to you everyday,

So what you have planted will take root.

 

Lord, I thank you for keeping me from all relationships I know would dishonor you, hurt me and bring pain to the lives of others.

 

Lord, I thank you for the plans you have for me are good, so even though sometimes I feel no one understands, how hard it is, I will trust you and I will wait.

 

Lord, I thank you for empowering me to do my best,

To remain Christ-like and positive, because I know that where I am, right now, is not where you are taking me.

 

Lord, grant me the glimpses of your vision for my future, so that my understanding may grow in accordance with your will and your timing for me.

 

Lord, thank you for giving me the patience along the way and the faith to trust that you are working for my good every moment of the day.

 

For I am a spirit filled in Christ in everyway.

God is my help in every need;

God does my every hunger feed;

God walks beside me, guides my way

Through every moment of the day.

 

I now am wise, I now am true,

Patient, kind, and loving too.

All things I am, can do, and be

Through Christ, the truth that is in me.

 

God is my health, I can't be sick;

God is my strength, unfailing, quick;

God is my all; I know no fear,

Since God and love and truth are hear.

The Light of God surrounds me;

The Love of God enfolds me;

The Power of God protects me;

The Presence of God watches over me.

Wherever I am, God is.
